Train Wheel Carrier Allowing Rotation

A train wheel set cradle allows for wheel and gearbox rotation, whilst in storage. Our specially designed wheelset cradle allows for the wheel set to be stored correctly and allows easy rotation, thanks to heavy duty support wheels.

The photo shows a wheelset with a gearbox, which allows for the wheels to be easily rotated – simply turn the gearbox input shaft and you can rotate the wheels with one hand.

Our design overcomes the problems relating to brinelling of bearings and gearboxes, whilst in storage. We can also provide a range of solutions to avoid brinelling in other products or components.

All stillages are supplied with certificate of conformity and load test certificate.
